5K Women's Challenge 2010 |

Hyde Park, 5th of September 2010 Since 1997, many women have joined FOCSA in taking part in the annual Women’s 5K Challenge in Hyde Park raising funds to support one of our projects in remote and/or poor areas of the country. With the slogan Let’s run…Let’s walk…Let’s save a colombian child, 45 fantastic women crossed the finish line in Hyde Park last year raising a total of £6500 which funded a project in benefit of Asociación Hogar Niños para un Nuevo Planeta in Bogota; a home for very poor children who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse. The video "A Journey of Love was presented at the Friends of Colombia for Social Aid Spring Fiesta 2009 and shows some of the hospitals that benefitted from FOCSA's donations of medical equipment during the year 2008.
