FOCSA, 30th Anniversary

Thirty years ago, inspired by Doña Lucía de Vazquez Carrisoza, Friends of Colombia for Social Aid was born. Since then, many, many childrens’ institutions have been benefited from our support.  Over the last six years more than £300,000 have been spent in modern medical equipment to Colombia with the aim to improve health conditions of our most deprived children.

Help us to continue this worthy cause. We will make sure that every penny received from you is transparently and wisely spent.


Helping the children in Choco
  Choco is situated in the North West tropical jungles of Colombia. With a population of just over 400,000, it is one of the wettest and hottest places in the world. Its infrastructure is almost non-existent and with only two poorly developed roads usable, most communities are only accessible by boat or by jungle paths. It is one of the poorest areas in Colombia.
